Time

This week has been alittle crazy for me. I have spent alot of time trying not to cry. As I try and say see you later to every improtant person to me. I want to post today about something we sometimes take forgranted each other. If you have a partner spouse or other is what ever you are fighting about or over worth it?Cause somewere there is some one saying good bye to thiers not of thier wishes but because they are being called from this life. They would give anything to have what few minutes you are waisting on fighting over useless crap. Are you a child who is too busy for your parents or a parent thats too busy for your child some were there is a child wishing they had just a little more time with their parent of a parent with thier child. Dont waist what time you have because the time will be gone before you know it.

My step dad who has been there for me more then my father. Is fading from this life and I am watchinhg as his only birth son is missing his last days with his dad cause he is too busy. I wish for more days with him. So dont take for granted cause one day you will see the last day and time will be up. Please let your loved ones know how you feel make time to enjoy each other and not just for the holidays but everyday.

If we don't seek each monemt of our lifes then they will be lost forever for we never get them back. who we touch and how we effect them is up to us. The river of life never stops flowing it bends and twists untill it reaches the ocean and is the swallowed up. Do not waist your river.

Here everyone I been asked to talk about the farm. I am going to talk about goats and stupidity. There are goats are ment to have two teats. Having extra is a deformation doesn't help in the amount of milk or the amount of babies they can care for.It has been brought to my attion that some people are letting babies die because they dont have this deformation.While the goat with this deformation could still be a good goat and serve you well it causes problems .A baby goat may get the wrong teat and not get any milk and starve to death. So you must watch for this. If I was to get a goat with this I would band the extra teat to save her troubles later. So letting a baby goat die because its not deformed is just plain stupid.
I have been told goats are mean. NO THEY ARE NOT !! UNLESS YOU make them that way!!!!! My goats are loyal loving and caring . I have even caught my daughter napping with the goats while one stands over her making sure she is safe and one is her pillow. Boy that is mean. My billy if he gets scared hides behind me. We are talk a full grown billy.So do not believe all goats are mean!!
While yes goats are a food producing animal does not mean they should be miss treated. If you make your self a threat then you will be viewed as one. If you are good to them they will be good to you. Before you breed or by please educate yourself.

Service

My thoughts of the day.Do not take a Service job if you DO NOT want to give service and expect people to take it!!!My step dad is fighting lung cancer and his oxygen concentrator went out sat. my mom called sunday morning and reported it. On monday his rep calls and says I cant make it till weds. maybe thrusday. Well thats too long for someone to fight a concentrator thats quiting when ever it wants moms not sleeping scared to death dads not sleeping on monday they was also told to use it with out the water and he started coughing blood This is not going well his heart rate is well over 100 and wont come down hes worring about the o2. On wednesday I get a call saying help so I go over to find all this out plus more. Its been 3 months and the rep has only called once never checked the concentrator. She lives like 28 miles away and cant make it to help him in less then 4 days. So the good daughter I am I take over. He is scared now that hes not going to get service and Im going to mess things up. Of course I tell him to relax and watch the show. I call another town question one Whats the number to the office that takes complaints? Lady gives me the number with a shake voice. Question two does your office give better service then other said office? Lady I would have to say yes cause I work for this office. Going good so far Question three can you be here before 6pm it is now 3pm? Yes we can! What do you need ? I told her and new stuff was in the drive in 35 min new rep drove 32 miles from city limits to house !! Service with a smile. The new Rep gave him enough hose he can reach every part of his house even go to his own bed with his o2 !!!!!!! Well wouldn't ya know it the old rep shows up before the new one is done. Yeap she is mad gets out ready to bump bellies. Guess she was not expecting a mad daughter to be there just as ready. First words out her mouth was I'm calling regional office!!She Yea lets do that. Great Idea lady!!! First off this is not about your heathcare its his and he has a choice and what you did is not exceptable .You do not leave a man in his condition to worry if he will have o2 or not for four days! So yeah lets make that call!! He has a choice in providers and his choice is an office he can get to and that will deliver service. Oh its not your office. By the time I was done she was crying and I walked off with now Im going to go try and calm my dad now that he has o2 he can count on! After all was said and done My poor daughter who got to see how to handle people like that. Said grandma mom made that lady cry she could not see were she was walking for the tears. Grandma said Yeah hunny I know your mom can get good at that when someone she loves is suffering because people do not do the right thing. That is why I wanted her help. So if you don't want to serve do not I repeat DO NOT take a job to serve. You just might run in to a mad daughter!!!
Oh yeah Its been a day but its done and the nite is quiet. So maybe they are sleeping a good nites sleep after 4 nites of fighting a life threatening ordeal.

Whats equal about....

I found out that good old aspertame is changing its name again it will be called aminosweet. So read closely as now its called a natural sweetner. That is not even close to true its a lie but thats how it works.Raw food stores get raided and cheme companies get to say and do what ever. All man equal hmm. Then its ok for congress to do insider trading and yet anyone else get a hint and its off the jail house rock ya go. We are not equal those in power have things set so we a equal. Equal comes will all the fields are the same all parties have the same chance as any other. Yet today the bottom group is pushed to the bottom every step they take and the top stays above.
Right now I am so tried of watching the bottom be pushed down I want to scream.The only way to get a good job is collage yet the cost is so great some never get it paid off. The food corp puts poison in our food tell us its good for us yet it causes illness .Why is it ok for things to be so unequal?Why is it people arent madder then they are? Whats equal about were we are in this country? At what point do the people say enough?
The housing market is just as bad they price house too high tell people its the way to go and then forclosure comes and people are confused. People you can not charge crazy amount and agree and not have problems. It just doesnt work that that. Fair prices make lifes better for all. Whats equal about the number of homeless due to this mess greed has caused?Many other companies and groups are doing the same thing.If we want equal we have to make it happon!

I was thinking I want cheap turkey year round. So, when they went on sale I bought two of them and in to jars they will go. Simple easy summer turkey. Pop my jar and healthy meal fast.Why do we eat things that are not ment to be eaten? Pink slime, wood pulp, nerve gas,and much more? Wonder why we are sick, don't feel good and can't lose weight.If we eat real food it feeds our body and we don't crave the junk feel full and the weight just falls off. When we grow and process our food we know what we are eating. If you cant grow your food shot to buy the less processed and do it yourself. The flavor will shock you! On this note I plan to buy "Ball Blue Books" for each of my kids to give to them. I think I want to try to make some Canadian bacon. With the price of bacon here so high.I am not a bacon fan but, it would be fun to try and who knows it might taste better.
We are being warned that we are in great trouble as a country.Lots of things could effect us in different ways. It is up to each of us to take care of our loved ones. Learning to make foods the old fashion ways seem to be a grand idea. If you have kids get them in on the lesson make memories both you and them will never forget.Getting kids to help with food prep is great bonding fix a drink sit back and chat while you learn together.Ok so you don't like cooking find another forgotten skill and learn it with your kids.There are so many things out there to do find something and learn a skill with your kids. Our kids are only young once and if we let that pass us by we can not get it back.
Our life is like the wind always blowing but never the same breeze . Harness the wind and take the ride of life just do not let it pass you by.

It has been a while for me to post.I have been pondering what to post about.So much is going on both personal and global.My step dad if fighting cancer and using alternative ways to do it.It has been a lesson lots of research.Learning to cook for him has been hard work. The garden died due to heat and lack of water now things are coming up just before the snow so they will die too.Keeping everything going has been alot of work.
Another summer is over and the winter work is now upon us.I need to write up my seed list for next year garden.I need to finish canning the freezers. So if we have power out we do not lose what we have in them.The to do list seems to keep growing.
We have had a cousin come to visit and see how we live and learn some of the old arts like canning, cheese making, gardening and few other things we do.He seems to be enjoying the work and the life style we have learned to live. My son is coming around yesterday he told me we need to buy more milk filters . He would like at least 3 boxes (with a thumbs up sign) just to be uhh yeah prepped. All I could do was smile.I think the history lesson had some effect on him.He researched German history.He seems to be more will to learn this year. Learning the history of the world seems to be making him want to have stuff on hand now.One down whoot whoot!!
The news looks bleak on our freedoms. I seem to be upsetting people cause I do
not sell my milk. With all the people getting raided and arrested seem safer just to supply for myself not sell. Sure the extra money would be nice just not worth the risk. Tsa seems to reaching out from just airports.The world sure is changing from what it once was.Soon we will tell tales that will sound like fairy tales of what life once was.
As we walk threw life things change just as nature follows its seasons. The trees once green full of life and beauty slowly turn to shades of orange yellow and red. Then we wake to find them empty all the leaves gone and the tree is dead looking. Seems we have hit the falling of the leaves in life too. Just as the trees battle the winter. We too must face it.Spring comes for the trees and it will come to us as well. Enjoy life till next time!

I Try to be an upbeat person and I try not to put others down but, right now I see no way to say things with out it putting some people down. So please forgive me if I stomp on your toes. I think I figured out what happen to our country! Now while some people don't belive in god and never open a bible that is were I found the answers. We are a beliving family and study gods teaching.Now for the answers for what has happened. For those who wont open the book let me put it here for you one word sums it all up Proverbs!!!!!!!!!!! 8.1-9.18. I am not going to type it all for you. but I will give you has brought me to my conclusions. "8.5 Are you immature? Learn to be mature. are you foolish ? Learn to have sense." What a concept our children and adults need to learn. "8.11I am Wisdom, I am better than jewels; nothing you want can compare with me."None of our leaders have wisdom. The people have refused the wisdom and teach the youth to act and be foolish.Is it not foolish to spend money you do not have? Is it not foolish to hire people you do not have money to pay? Is it not foolish to to make laws that stop the people you wish to tax from making money? Is it not foolish to make laws that stop people from producing food? WE Need WISDOM!! In our leaders our youth and adults. Lack of wisdom is foolish stupid and leads to destruction in all the foolish touches.
Greed is not really touched in these chapters but Greed will lead a man to foolishness will blind him of wisdom and rune all he touches as well. We are ment to take care of our old, disabled, and our young. Instead of taking a pay cut our government is cutting from the old, disabled, and young. Greed has set up in their hearts. Greed will bring down everything it touches it will turn family against each other, friends to enemies. It lives in our government system and it thrives there. I hear people saying cut welfare cut medicare medicaid cut the government entitlements. Yet I am not hearing cut My paycheck to feed the ones that can not. I am not hearing we need to cut the foolish grants. We need morals!!
I hear people say we need to bring our troops home get out of the wars. Good idea lets do that with the troops home that will shoot unemployment how high? Hmm WE dont have enough jobs now for the people. How are we going to employ all the troops that are no just on call not duty?? We have to get the jobs going and with the way the government is acting and the laws they are passing no one wants to move.
We have entered a every big stakes game of chess. As the government passes laws we try to find away to move around them. To live and each passing law the government gets closer to check mate. At some point The game will end. We will be felt to clean up a large mess from greed, foolishness, stupidity, lust, and it will not be a wonderful mess to clean.

I went to bed in a rant woke up and still feeling ranty. I am so fed up with people not having or at least using moral or even thinking. If someone invited you for dinner and told you up front the main ingredant was round up. What would you say? You wouldn't eat at my house. Yet when i go to see you what do you offer me? GMO foods When my kids visit you you give them GMO foods. Thats what you serve my family Roundup. I am soppost to be happy that you feed us poison? Why because the FDA say its OK What the !! If you take the time time educate your self you will find what I'm saying is true. It is even worse then what I am saying. Some call me a food snob. Some call me a food nut. Some say I am just freaking out over nothing. Well here is some food for thought. People are getting sick from the crappy food countries that feed their people plastic wont let them eat GMO. Next rant why are we so lazy we can not mash some bananas for our kids?? We buy them premashed in a jar with glass in the jar. Oh yeah Gerber is having a recall on bananas cause they might have glass but, opps you done feed that jar to your baby. So get off your lazy bumm and smash some bananas for the kids you say you love. Heck show some real love and make all your own baby food then you will know if ya put some glass in there.
Moving on our jobs report stink why? Well here is a few examples You got to have the iPad!!! Well look in to the way Apple treats its employes. Then Look at were its made. Oh guess what its not here. There is a hint. Just like many other products. You want America To Work Buy Things Made in America!!!!
Its going to take All Americans to fix our problems and sitting back say there is nothing I can do is NOT True it is pure laziness. You have a choice over what you buy or do not buy. You have an option over what you feed your family. If and when we speak as a country then and only then will they listen !
Now let us think out side the box for a minute. If I told you what cloths to wear.What color of bras or shirt you could put on every day what would you tell me?? Yet you let schools tell your kids just that. If I lied to you all the time would you trust me?? Yet our goverment lies to us all the time yet we vote the same liers in office and expect something new. What ever! If i told you Do Not own your house you just rent it you would say no its mine but do not pay taxes and see who owns the house. If this is a FREE COUNTRY then why is it you cant grow a garden in the front yard? Why is it you can not own chickens with out someone saying ok on your land you own. We allow TSA and every other thing the goverment says is ok to happen to us and sit back you want to stop TSA stop flying airlines might close but so will TSA and the goverment will start to figure out WE ARENT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!!

Herbs

We have ordered the herb plants we are going to grow this year.Now were to plant them? The kids are excited to learn the new plants.We are plant to take the field guides out and identify plants and what they are for. This should be so fun!! So many plants have been forgotten in our world. Hoping we can learn to look at them in awww like our ansters did. They used to be used for food, medician, cloth and much more. Yet today we round up them and kill them. Grass is nice to walk on but,other then that its not that great. My neighbors might not like it much but I think it would be nice to have a "weed" that smelled lovey to walk on instead of grass. I seen a video of a family that had eatable plants all over the yard .I would love to have that yard but we will see how that goes.
